In the winter semester 2025/2026, I am serving as Acting Professor of Public Law, Economic and Monetary Law, Financial Market Regulation, and Legal Theory at Goethe University Frankfurt. Previously, I was a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Behavioral Law and Economics at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods.

My research focuses on public law as well as on empirical legal studies and experimental law and economics. Current projects explore behavioral administrative law, law & technology, and legal enforcement mechanisms.

I hold doctorates in law from the University of Bonn and in economics from the University of Jena.
