I am Assistant Professor of Law and Digitalisation at Erasmus School of Law, Erasmus University Rotterdam (July 2026–July 2027). In the winter semester 2025/2026, I served as Acting Professor of Public Law at Goethe University Frankfurt. Previously, I was a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods.
My research focuses on public law as well as on empirical legal studies and experimental law and economics. Current projects explore behavioral administrative law, law & technology, and legal enforcement mechanisms.
I hold doctorates in law from the University of Bonn and in economics from the University of Jena.
